Oris
ORIS
This is a short tech demo for a digital conversion of a board game I previously made with the same title. Expect around 2-5 minutes of play time.
How to Play:
Monsters have arrows on them, those are the legal directions that they can be hit from.
Green = 1 HP
Yellow = 2 HP
Black = 3 HP
The number of health a monster has also corresponds to the number of eyes it has.
Some monsters can only be hit from the top and the bottom, some from the right and left, and some from all directions.
Pawns are arrows, they all deal one damage in the direction of the adjacent grid tile that they are facing in.
Turn Flow:
Click on black pointer icon card to spawn monsters
Place monsters on the grid tiles
Place grid tile, once per turn
Place pawns in the right position to damage monsters
Press Space to end turn
For every Monster killed, you get one pawn card back into your hand
For every Monster left alive on the grid, that many pawn cards are deleted from your hand
Try to make it through multiple rounds and kill as many monsters as you can!
Rules:
You must place all monsters on the grid tiles to end the turn
If you run out of pawns in your hand, you lose
You can only place one grid tile per turn
Once you place a pawn or monster and press end turn, those pawns and monsters are locked to the grid; they cannot be moved. You can drag a pawn off the grid into empty space to delete it to free up room.
Controls:
Left click to drag and drop
Space to end turn
wasd to pan camera around
